The Role, Job description

NVMS is seeking a skilled and detailed orientated Calibration Technician to join our services team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing calibration and maintenance of various equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards in our NATA-accredited calibration laboratory.

This is a crucial role within the company in maintaining the quality and reliability of our products and our services.

Reporting to the Services Manager, you will also be responsible for providing customer liaison, quoting, scheduling, goods in/goods out, technical support and in-house instrument repairs.

The role may at times include performing on-site installations, troubleshooting and repairs, ad hoc service work and manufacturing of in-house products.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Calibration Technician or in a similar role.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Hands-on can-do approach.

• A methodical and thorough work ethic.

• Excellent computer literacy.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Problem solving abilities and learning new technologies should come naturally.

• A sound electronics background would be preferred.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
