Environmental Noise Course

Aimed primarily at industry environmental advisers and technicians, this two-day course covers the technical aspects of environmental noise from an emission perspective. Topics include basic acoustics, acoustic analysis, outdoor sound propagation, interpretation and application of the WA Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997, intrusive characteristics, compliance assessment, instrumentation, fundamentals of noise control, practicality of outdoor measurement, and a noise modelling introduction.
