The Noise Assessor Refresher Course (previously the Noise Officer Refresher Course), for Noise Assessors whose accreditation is due for renewal and who meet the requirements for competency as specified by DEMIRS Resources Safety, runs on Wednesday and Thursday of the 5-day course, when delegates can reacquaint themselves with instrumentation use, learn about current legislation, and refresh their noise survey techniques. An examination and post-course noise survey are also to be completed.

Noise Assessors whose approval is due for renewal and who can demonstrate current competence in occupational noise assessment.

Outcomes

Successful completion of the 2-day course and the assessed elements entitles delegates to re-register as Approved Noise Assessors with DEMIRS Resources Safety.
